There is a marginal improvement in the weather and I no longer feel that I could cook an egg on my head if I were foolish enough to wander outside. Not that I ever wanted to do this but it would have been possible two days ago. Those of us who are only partially melted at this time say 'thank you'. Not sure to whom but we say it regardless.

I think there was a collective *sigh* around the humid areas when it broke....dare I say it..I think another heat wave will hit us before the summer is out.......course at this rate, summer wont be over till OCTOBER
You poor, melted thing. "They" promise a cooling trend this week. Sure hope so! I, for one, don't want to experience last Tuesday's 108 degrees again any time soon!
